Dear Members,

I hope you all had a nice holiday and that the New Year is off to a good start.  Believe it or not , we are beginning to gear up for the summer.  We have already planned our annual spring OPEN HOUSE for April 15th, and our 3rd annual ADULT SOCIAL for JUNE 16th.  Save the date and invite your neighbors! 

Invoices will be mailed in February.  Your help is needed updating the club records.  Please take the time to fill out the information requested on the invoice, especially your correct address, email and phone number. 

This year the club will be accepting credit cards.  If you choose to pay your membership with a credit card, there will be a $20 convenience fee added to your bill.  Of couse checks and cash will still be accepted.  As always, if you pay by April 15th you will receive 10 free guest passes ($50 value).

For those who didn't already hear, the ABC issues have been resolved and you may now BYOB again.

Tennis News

There will be a tennis committe meeting on Tuesday, January 31st at 6:30pm to discuss the possibility of putting a bubble over the tennis courts for the winter months.

VALENTINE'S PARTY!  KIDS ON THE BLOCK YOUTH NIGHT!

On Friday, February 17, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00pm, all middle school students in the Little Neck Community are invited to attend the Second Kids on the Block Youth Night.  Join your friends for a fun night of Valentine's Day games, music, and food.  You will learn about anti-bullying resourses, too!

The cost for the event is $3 members, $5 non-members, and we will be having a collection of canned goods that will be donated to the Foodbank of Norfolk.  Drinks and snacks will be served.  Parent volunteers are needed to help provide a safe social environment.  High School students can also earn community service hours for volunteering.

Register by liking the "Kids on the Block Youth Nights at the Little Neck Swim and Racquet Club" on Facebook.  If you are interested in attending, we encourage all to register in advance by sending an email to lnsrcyouth@aol.com requesting a registration form.  This helps for planning purposes but if you cannot do so , we will have forms available at the door.  If you have any questions, you can e-mail lnsrcyouth@aol.com.
