Children’s Beginner Tennis (Ages 7-10)  This clinic is designed to introduce kids to the joy of Tennis.  Kids will learn the fundamentals of the game and have fun.  Focus will be put on learning the rules and learning ball-eye coordination.

Children’s Advanced Beginner Tennis (Ages 10-14)  This clinic will build on the fundamentals learned in Children’s beginners and is a great asset to kids already familiar with the game.  Racquet control will be emphasized and participants will learn to hit the ball back and forth over the net.  Kids will learn tennis movements and game play.

Tournament Training  For those young players competing or ready to compete in tournaments.  Strategy, court craft, mental discipline, and mental toughness will be the focus of this intense 2 hour session.  Players will learn how to compete and train for tournaments. 

• 1-3pm

Registration Instructions

• Complete the 2008 Summer Tennis Camp & Clinic Registration Form

• Registration for all camps and clinics must be accompanied by payment at registration.  Participants will not be penciled in or registered with out payment.

• Registration will be taken by the Manager.  If Manager is not available, registrations can be dropped off in the locked drop box by pool gate.  For more information call 486-8714 or email manager@lnsrc.org.    

• Deadline to register is exactly two weeks prior to Camp or Clinic start date.  If there is not enough participation to meet minimum requirements, clinics will be cancelled at the two week deadline.  Registrations will be accepted after the two week cut off date only if minimum was made prior to deadline, and if there is room as determined by Tennis Pro. 

• There must be at least five participants registered for scheduled clinic to take place.   Following the two week deadline to register, participants will be notified if clinic is to be cancelled by the club manager or his/her representative.  Tennis Pro will be notified prior to members, and may arrange with participants to schedule a private, or group lesson with participants. 

• There will be no refunds of clinic fees after the two week registration deadline.  Prior to the end of clinic reservations a full refund will be honored.   If club must cancel due to low participation, payment will be returned in full. 

• In the event of bad weather or if Tennis Pro must cancel a single session of the clinic, the Tennis Pro will notify you of the makeup date.
