LNSRC 2008 Swim Lessons

All scheduled 2008 sessions have been completed.  Thank you for your participation and please check back next year for the 2009 schedule.

Swim Level Descriptions
Level 1 Introduction to Water Skills: helps students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely.
Level 2 Fundamental Aquatic Skills: gives students success with fundamental skills.  Swims short distance independently.  Willing to go underwater.  Able to swim on back with assistance.
Level 3 Stroke Development: builds on the skills in Level 2 by providing additional guided practice.   Swim short distance on back & front independently.  Comfortable in deep water.  Beginning actual strokes.
Level 4 Stroke Improvement: develops confidence in the strokes learned and to improve other aquatic skills.  Very comfortable in the water.  Able to swim long distances.
Level 5 Stroke Refinement: provides further coordination and refinement of strokes.  Know basics of all strokes. 
Aquatot Parent and child are in the water together. This class is designed to help get the child interested and comfortable in the water.
