Spinfire Ball Machine Rules

We’re excited to offer the ball machine for members to enjoy! Please help us keep it in great shape by following these simple rules:

• Play safe: Please use the machine carefully and let the Manager know right away if something isn’t working or if there’s an accident.
• Take care of all parts: While using the machine, you’re responsible for the battery, remote, balls, and extension cord. Be sure everything is returned to the shed when your reservation ends.
• Age guidelines:
  • Children under 6 may not use the ball machine.
  • Juniors under 16 must be supervised by an adult member at all times.
  • Members 16 and older may use the machine on their own.
• Guests: Non-members are welcome to use the machine if accompanied by a member. Guest fees still apply.
• Rain policy: Please stop immediately if it starts to rain or the courts get wet. Pick up the balls and return the machine to the shed—wet balls damage the machine. Never put wet balls in the machine.
• Reservations: The ball machine may be reserved for up to two hours, whether used by an individual or a group.
• Balls: Please only use the balls that are already in the machine—don’t add your own.
• After play: At the end of your session, pick up all balls, unplug the machine, and return it (and all parts) to the shed within your reservation time. Please be mindful of others waiting to use it.
• Battery: If you’ve used the battery, please plug it in to recharge before you leave.
• Respectful use: Improper use of the machine or poor behavior on the court may result in loss of ball machine privileges.
